Schutzengel German Shepherds is a small hobby kennel located near Cooks Creek, Manitoba, Canada. We enjoy training, working and just spending time with our dogs. Our yard is 160 acres along a creek with plenty of room to run and play.
I've had German Shepherds since my childhood and began breeding German Shepherds in 1990. I did try out Boxers, Great Danes then Border Collies in the 80's but returned to my true love, the German Shepherd dog. The German Shepherd suits our lifestyle the best. Our family is very active with our horses and other outdoor activities.
The more training, working and socializing that you do with your German Shepherd, the closer the bond and more confident, well mannered and calm your German Shepherd will be. You will have a wonderful obedient companion. Family raised German Shepherd dogs are not ones left in a crate nor locked/chained in the back yard and forgotten. They need mental stimulation to be mentally healthy.
We are improving our breeding bloodlines by importing excellent working/sport lines with healthy backgrounds and awesome temperments. We produce mostly Black/Tans and solid Blacks with the occasional Sable. We can also import quality working lines for you too.
